Ah, just say it!

Not a week passed since I complained about my Kaweco pen. And you know what?! It happens Kaweco makes replacement parts! And you can easily purchase it from your dealer. So, half an hour of walking (I was lucky to live in a walking distance from the only official Kaweco dealer in Moscow, haha) and I'm a happy owner of working-again pen. And also I could get replacement pen of other size. They have not only "f"s, but also "ef", "m" and "b".  I restrained myself, and took only "f". But now I know where to get others.

RIP my pen

This year I purchased a new pen, white Kaweco sport. I was quite happy, as my old Waterman Harmony's nib became more "b" than "f", and I was desperately looking for a substitute, not too expensive.
And this spring it happened that I left my both pens at home and moved to another place for a month. As I didn't expect such a long absence, I didn't take my pens with me, neither I prepared them for a long standby. It's natural that when I came back, both of them didn't work. But. Waterman reanimated after one bath. Kaweco—well, I've tried several times, and now, when summer is gone, and it's already autumn, I give up. Yes, it reanimates, works for a day, but next morning you need to start over. It's a pity. And I need to look for a new pen! Such a pain.

Notebooks

Also I've purchased "Aimee collection" notebooks. It's a South Korean brand. I've got only four of them, not the whole line, and actually I'm glad there where only four. Now, reminiscing of the purchase I think it'd be better if I got none or only one.
Anyway. They looked so cute on the ad pictures. Like this (took ad pictures from the E-bay):

And when they arrived, the looked really cute:

But during usage they started loosing leaves and getting rumpled: pages stick on a glue base, and a cover is too thin. Yet I'm rather caring stationary user, in the end it started looking like this:

It looks like the only way you can use these notebooks is to store them in your drawer. Otherwise they stop being cute in a week or two.
